Frequently Asked Questions
How do I grant Screen Time permissions?
Go to your iPhone Settings → Screen Time → and ensure Screen Time is enabled. Then open Selah and follow the prompts to grant the necessary permissions. You may need to authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Screen Time passcode.
Why can't I unlock my apps?
Make sure you complete the full prayer/reflection activity for the duration you've set in settings. If you close the app before completing the activity, your apps will remain locked. Also ensure your device time is set correctly.
How do I change which apps are blocked?
Open Selah, go to Settings, and tap "Select Apps to Block." You can add or remove individual apps or entire categories. Changes take effect immediately.
Can I change the Bible translation?
Yes! Go to Settings and select your preferred translation from KJV, WEB, ASV, or Spanish Reina Valera 1909.
How do I adjust the auto-relock time?
In Settings, tap "Auto-Relock Interval" and choose from 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or Never. This determines how long your apps stay unlocked before automatically locking again.
Does Selah work offline?
Yes! Selah includes 200+ Bible verses stored locally, so you can always complete the unlock activity even without an internet connection. The Unreached People Group feature requires internet for daily updates.
How do I reset my statistics?
Currently, statistics cannot be reset manually. If you need to clear your data, you can delete and reinstall the app. Note that this will also remove your custom prayers and settings.
Is my data private?
Absolutely! All your data stays on your device. Selah does not collect, track, or share any of your personal information. For more details, see our
Privacy Policy.
